2007 Season - Week 12

Sean Taylor 1984-2007

Washington Redskins Pro-Bowl safety Sean Taylor died early Tuesday morning after he was shot through the leg at his Miami home by an intruder. The 24 year old fifth pick in the 2004 draft was at home in Miami because he was due to see a specialist about his injury suffered a few weeks ago. H in Hall of Fame, Again Last week (Week 11) Andy H made it into scoring Hall of Fame for the third time this season (and fifth time overall). Going into the Sunday Night game his first 6 players had scored 17 points but then his Tom Brady threw 5 TDs with 4 of them going to H’s receiver Randy Moss and suddenly he had 56 points. H continues to score at a record setting pace, now scheduled to score 654 blowing passed Johnny & Wayne 574. With just 12 weeks gone in the season he has already passed the 440 total Mark scored in 2000 when he posted the lowest total ever to win the league. Next on his radar in Gully who won with 477 in 1997, then Mark again & Marcus (481). 10,000 yards Rushing Club Congratulation to 3 players who have recently passed the 10,000 yard plateau. Fred Taylor (10,221), LaDainian Tomlinson (10,048) and Warrick Dunn (10,044). Emmitt Smith leads the pack with a huge 18,355 yards. TO’s TD Haul A couple of weeks ago Terrell Owens passed Marvin Harrison (123) for 3rd all-time in TD receptions. TO now has 127, just 3 behind Cris Carter but 70 behind former team-mate Jerry Rice. Randy Moss is currently on 117. New England are in While we are celebrating achievements congratulations to the New England Patriots who have equaled (’85 Bears) the earliest time a team has clinched its division since the introduction of the 16-game schedule. In fact the 11-0 Pats have more wins than the other 3 teams in the AFC (L)East division combined.
